Why we started this

Two players, one annoying problem.

The Racket Lab was founded by 2 tennis players from Victoria who got tired of long wait times for stringing rackets and wanted to solve the problem ourselves. We found that it was hard to make a trip to a location to drop a racket off, wait an extended period and then go pick it up.

So we decided to solve all these problems in one go by starting Victoria's first racket pickup and delivery service with turnaround times as fast as 24 hours.

The plushest, most powerful string we stock. Lovely to hit, with almost no spin to speak of — the fibres are smooth, so there is no snapback. Head Velocity covers similar ground for fifteen dollars less if budget matters.

Head Hawk Touch

A soft elastic core inside a firmer polyester shell, so it pockets the ball on off-centre hits instead of punishing you. Comfortable for a poly and the cheapest one we carry. Will not hold tension as long as the tour strings.
